Real case
Illustrative scenario. An accountant in Belo Horizonte has handled for years the tax return of a dentist who, after a postgraduate course, settled in Melbourne. That year the return was flagged and the Revenue demanded a reply through e-CAC; the old power of attorney had lapsed and the client could not complete gov.br's facial validation in the app, because her CNH predated the biometric database. The accountant wrote to us, described the case and passed our contact to his client. She did the video validation at seven in the morning Melbourne time — late afternoon of the previous day in Minas — and, with the e-CPF installed, granted a fresh electronic power of attorney to the firm. What the person overseas will experience at validation
Sending documents
Legible photos or scans of the identity document and confirmation of the CPF, over WhatsApp.
Video call with an RA agent
A short session, in Portuguese or English, in which the person shows the original document to the camera and confirms their details. Those in London may opt for an in-person appointment.
Issuance by the Certisign CA
With identity validated, the certificate is issued within ICP-Brasil. With A1, the person installs the file on a computer; with A3, they use a token, card or cloud.
Immediate use
Signing PDFs, accessing e-CAC, granting powers of attorney and e-Notariado acts become possible from wherever they are.
For accountants: working with clients abroad without improvising
Accounting firms are often the first to notice that a client needs a certificate issued from abroad. If you serve Brazilians outside the country regularly, we can agree a simple flow: you introduce the client, we run validation and issuance, and you remain their professional of reference in Brazil. Before deciding: the doubts of people in Brazil
"Can I handle it all for him, since I'm here?"
No. The certificate is personal and validation requires the holder in front of the camera. You organise, follow and receive the result; issuance is with the person abroad.
"Isn't it safer for him to sort it at the consulate?"
The consulate does not issue ICP-Brasil certificates. It can authenticate signatures and draw up paper powers of attorney, with appointments and travel; the certificate resolves the same act digitally and repeatably.
"How do I know the company exists?"
Kindness in Business Consulting Ltd is registered in the United Kingdom under number 10386293, searchable at Companies House. The issued certificate shows the AC-Raiz → Certisign CA chain on ITI's validator.
"Will the time zone get in the way?"
The session is booked in the time zone of the person abroad. For those in Brazil nothing changes: you simply receive the signed document.
Transparent pricing
The certificate is paid by the person overseas, in euros, and covers video validation and issuance by the Certisign CA. If the family or company in Brazil wishes to fund it, simply arrange that between yourselves; for us, the holder remains the person validated.
A1 or A3 and the chosen validity alter the figure; the firm quote is sent in writing in the conversation.
