What is included when you hire
Model guidance
Before closing, you get a recommendation between A1 and A3 and between e-CPF and e-CNPJ based on what you will do with the certificate — not on what costs more.
Video validation session
The identity check with an RA agent, at a time arranged for your time zone, or in person in London if you prefer.
Issuance by AC Certisign
The ICP-Brasil certificate tied to your CPF or your company's CNPJ, with the validity you choose: one year for A1, up to three for A3.
Installation and first signature
We walk you through installing the A1 on your computer or phone, or activating the A3, and stay with you for the first signature or the first e-CAC login.
How you pay and when
Currency
Payment is made in euros or pounds sterling, with no need for a Brazilian bank account or card.
Final price in writing
Once model and validity are defined, you receive the total on WhatsApp, in text, before the session is booked. Nothing is charged on the basis of “from”.
Method and timing
The available payment options and the moment payment is made are confirmed in the same conversation, together with the price. We would rather explain in writing than publish terms that change.
Proof
You receive confirmation of payment and, after issuance, the certificate is tied to your CPF — the proof that the service was delivered is the certificate itself in use.

Real case
Illustrative scenario. A Brazilian logistics manager transferred to Mexico City hears from the accountant that he needs to sign an amendment to the articles of the family company in Campinas and, in the same month, file an overdue return on e-CAC. His first idea was to use the December holidays to handle everything in Brazil; the amendment, however, had a registry filing deadline before then. He sent the hiring message with country, purpose and preferred model, received the final price in euros, confirmed and booked validation for a morning in Mexico City, midday in Brasília. With the A1 e-CPF installed right after issuance, he signed the amendment in PAdES for the accountant to file and logged into e-CAC for the return. The holidays stayed holidays. — A typical case of someone with deadline-bound obligations and a trip to Brazil only at year's end
If validation is not approved
The session can be halted for reasons outside the RA's control: an expired or unreadable document, a CPF with a registry issue, a name on the document that differs from the record, or, for an e-CNPJ, a holder not listed as director. In each case you are told what to fix and the session is rebooked once it is corrected. That is why the checklist below exists — almost everything that blocks approval can be checked before hiring.
Expired document
Renew your passport at the consulate or use another valid Brazilian photo ID. Validation follows right after.
CPF not in good standing
A missing return or registry issue is resolved with the Revenue; we point the way and rebook once the CPF is regular.
Name mismatch
A marriage or correction not reflected in the CPF requires a registry update before issuance.
Not listed in the QSA
For an e-CNPJ, the amendment naming you director must be filed and reflected in the CNPJ record.
Hiring checklist
- I know which certificate I need: e-CPF (individual) or e-CNPJ (a company where I am a director).
- I have chosen the model with guidance: A1 for one year or A3 for up to three years. If unsure, see A1 or A3 for expats.
- I have a valid Brazilian photo ID and a CPF in good standing.
- For an e-CNPJ: the CNPJ is active and I am listed as director in the QSA.
- I have received the final price in writing and the payment terms in euros or pounds.
- I have chosen a validation slot in my time zone and tested camera and connection.
- I know where I will install the A1 or how I will use the A3, and I have the device available after the session.
